LIQUI MOLY Hydraulic Lifter Additive is a high-performance oil supplement specifically formulated to address the common issues of noisy, contaminated, or sticky hydraulic tappets (lifters). Over time, deposits and contaminants can clog the fine oil holes and ducts within the engine's oil circuit, leading to improper hydraulic lifter operation, which manifests as a noticeable, annoying clattering or ticking noise, particularly when the engine is cold. This advanced 300mL additive works by actively cleaning these critical oil passages and valve bores, allowing the hydraulic lifters to once again function optimally by receiving the correct amount of oil pressure. By restoring proper function, it not only significantly dampens the hydraulic tappet noise but also contributes to better engine performance and increased operational reliability. Furthermore,  it improves the function of oil pressure-fed timing chain tensioners, which can result in the reduction of timing chain noise.
