Engineered with Shoei's proprietary Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ Shell construction, the RF-1400 uses a combination of fiberglass, organic fibers, and high-performance organic fibers to deliver optimal impact absorption while remaining remarkably lightweight (approximately 3.64 lbs / 1649 grams for a size medium). This is Shoei's lightest SNELL-approved full-face helmet.

The CWR-F2 Shield and Base Plate System provides an incredibly clear field of vision and protects against 99% of the sun's UV rays. The all-new, airtight window beading creates a wind and waterproof seal, while an easy-to-use center-locking mechanism ensures the shield stays securely in place. The helmet comes with a Pinlock® EVO lens, offering a 10% larger field of vision and superior fog resistance.
