K&N Universal Custom Air Filter - Oval - Red - 51mm Neck Flange
Description

K&N Universal Custom Air Filter Oval Red 51mm Neck Flange | High-Flow Performance Filter

Boost engine performance with the K&N Universal Custom Oval Air Filter. Features a 51mm neck flange, oiled red cotton media, chrome top/base plates, and washable design.

The K&N Universal Custom Air Filter (56-9105) is engineered to maximize airflow and horsepower for single or two-barrel carburetor setups. Designed with an oval profile and a vibrant red oiled-cotton filtration element, this custom filter assembly delivers high airflow while capturing dirt and debris.

Featuring custom chrome top and base plates, it provides a sleek, show-quality look under the hood. The pliable rubber 51mm neck flange absorbs engine vibration and allows for a secure clamp-on fitment. Because it is washable and reusable, this air filter offers long-lasting durability and sustainable performance for custom builds and classic engines.

Best Uses

  1. Carbureted Engine Upgrades: Ideal for classic cars, vintage roadsters (such as Lotus Elan), hot rods, and custom builds running single or two-barrel carburetors.
  2. Performance Tuning: Perfect for project vehicles requiring enhanced airflow to boost horsepower and throttle response.
  3. Engine Bay Aesthetics: Great for custom auto builds where chrome trim and red filter media complement the engine bay appearance.
  4. Custom Intake Setups: Fits custom intake piping or carburetors with a 51mm (2-inch) inlet diameter.

Features

  1. High-Flow Oiled Cotton Media: Layered red cotton element optimized to increase air intake without restricting flow.
  2. 51mm Neck Flange: Flexible, molded rubber flange designed to absorb vibrations and provide a tight seal.
  3. Chrome Top and Base Plates: Features show-quality chrome-plated housing for durability and engine bay style.
  4. Washable and Reusable Design: Fully washable filter media engineered for repeated cleaning and re-oiling.
  5. Compact Oval Geometry: Oval profile designed to fit tight space constraints around carburetor manifolds.

Benefits

  1. Enhanced Horsepower & Acceleration: Delivers higher air volume to the engine to improve throttle response and power output.
  2. Superior Filtration Protection: Traps airborne dirt and particles effectively to protect internal engine components.
  3. Cost-Effective Long-Term Value: Eliminates the need for constant disposable filter replacements due to its reusable construction.
  4. Vibration Resistance: Molded rubber flange absorbs engine movement to prevent loosening or slippage.
  5. Show-Ready Appearance: Premium chrome finish instantly upgrades the aesthetic of your engine bay.
