Description

K&N Replacement Air Filter for BMW 535, 635 & 735 (1988–1996)

Upgrade your classic BMW with the K&N Replacement Air Filter (Part # 33-2573). Boost airflow, enhance throttle response, and enjoy a washable, reusable design backed by a 10-Year/Million-Mile Limited Warranty.

The K&N Replacement Air Filter (Part # 33-2573) is engineered specifically for vintage BMW performance models, including the 1989–1993 BMW 535i, 1989 BMW 635CSi, and 1988–1996 BMW 735i. Designed as a direct drop-in replacement for the factory air box, this air filter eliminates air restriction associated with traditional disposable paper filters.

Featuring 4 layers of premium oiled cotton gauze encapsulated between durable aluminum mesh, it delivers up to 50% more airflow to your engine while maintaining critical filtration capabilities. Pre-oiled and ready to install out of the box, this filter allows you to easily improve engine efficiency, horsepower, and acceleration without modifying your vehicle's stock setup.

Best Uses

  1. Performance Upgrades: Enhancing engine power, torque, and throttle response in classic BMW M30 engine models.
  2. Daily Driving & Long-Distance Cruising: Providing long-lasting, low-maintenance air filtration for up to 75,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions.
  3. Eco-Conscious Vehicle Maintenance: Replacing single-use paper filters with a long-lasting, washable alternative to reduce waste.

Features

  1. Vehicle-Specific Fitment: Engineered to drop directly into the OEM air box of 1989–1993 BMW 535i, 1989 BMW 635CSi, and 1988–1996 BMW 735i models.
  2. 4 Layers of Protection: Made from layered, oiled cotton gauze media reinforced with protective epoxy-coated wire mesh to trap dust and contaminants effectively.
  3. Washable & Reusable: Designed to be cleaned and re-oiled for continuous use over the lifetime of your vehicle.
  4. Pre-Oiled Construction: Arrives factory-oiled and ready for immediate, hassle-free drop-in installation.
  5. Precision Dimensions: Manufactured to exact factory specifications (14.875 in L x 5.813 in W x 1.125 in H) for a tight, secure seal in the stock air box.

Benefits

  1. Increased Horsepower & Acceleration: High-flow media reduces intake restriction, enabling your engine to draw in more air for better performance.
  2. Cost-Effective Long Term: Eliminates the ongoing cost of purchasing disposable paper filters every maintenance cycle.
  3. Extended Service Intervals: Requires cleaning only once every 75,000 miles under typical highway driving conditions.
  4. Environmentally Friendly: Reduces landfill waste by replacing disposable filters and single-use packaging.
  5. Warranty Coverage: Backed by K&N’s 10-Year/Million-Mile Limited Warranty for ultimate peace of mind.
